i'm down ANOTHER 3 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! heheh. this weight watchers thing is really working for me! that's a total of 13 pounds in 3 weeks. not too shabby if i say so myself!!

There's no place like home!!

CASEY COMES HOME TODAY!!!!!!!! In about 30 minutes i leave for the airport and i'm sooooooooooooooooooo excited!! tonight i'll make dinner and we'll watch some tv and it'll just be so nice to have him HOME!!! YEAH!!!!

yummy dinner

i made turkey burgers tonight that were soooooooooooo good!!!

1 pound ground turkey
1 cup fat free cheddar cheese
2-3tbsp of dried onions
a shake of basil
a shake of garlic salt
a shake of pepper

mush together and form burgers. 1/3 pound burger is 6.5 points and fills you up!!!
i ate with 1 tbsp ketchup. yum!

date day!

so i'm thinking about having a date with myself today! taking myself shopping, taking myself to lunch, just having a great day alone. where should i go? what should i do?

Today is not good..

Today has been not so good in the diet department. i went 3 points over. i'm allowed 35 extra points a week so why am i beating myself up for 3 points? i'll tell you why. if i don't do that, i'll eat more. honestly, the only thing keeping me from eating a yogurt or rice cakes is me saying 'hey, 3 points over' to myself.
i'm not hungry. at all. i'm bored out of my mind actually! my best friend is in baltimore this weekend. he left today. it's not like he's gone forever, but when i see the guy every day, it's odd to have him gone. i hope he has fun and he better bring me home a gift!!

i prepacked some pretzels today and yesterday i bought some peach fresca (yum) and will enjoy that stuff for snacks. i'm also looking forward to my 3 day weekend! i took monday off (have to pick up my friend from the airport!).

This post is going to be about a product that my boss has been working on. last year she had the idea that she would make a pacifier that was trendy. she started to work on it and came up with a really good idea. she had the product made, government tested (and approved), and has recently began selling them on ebay.

neenee

so today the girl i watch started talking to me. she called me neenee. out of the blue. she also said ...up, no, all done, peek, and row row. her voice is just so cute! her scream, however, is not. that girl is SPOILED.

so i weighed myself ...illegally..today and i'm down another pound. we'll see what monday brings :)

sammy (my cat) has been meowing all night, the guy next door is slamming his door, casey is getting his hobby ready for tomorrow, and the people downstairs are loud with their movie. all's well in the world haha.

no one knows but me...

so when i was in high school, there was a time that i didn't eat. i wouldn't have breakfast, i'd eat an orange, nachos with pickles, or nothing for lunch and have a small dinner. i lost weight that way. in my mind i thought i was fat...in reality i wasn't. i'm getting some of that back in my mind which is not healthy. on this weight watchers plan, i'm allowed 31 points and they tell you to eat them all or as close to them as you can. well tonight i'm freaking out about it. i'm at 24 points for the day. i wasn't hungry until about 3pm today. i had my normal points for breakfast/lunch/snack. i came home and had this noodle dish that i made yesterday...that 2 cups of that equil to be 7 points. i measured it out yesterday when packing the left overs. i had not one, but 2 weight watchers ice cream cones at 2 points each. to bring me to my total of 24. so why am i beating myself up in my head thinking that i'm aweful and that i ate too much and telling myself 'if you can't eat right, then get off the plan' honestly. what is wrong with me that in my head i think that even though i ate COMPLETE meals and healthy, that i over ate and am horrible. i have 7 points left for today. SEVEN. anyone ever feel this way before or is it just me?

so i weighed in today and discovered since i've started weight watchers on wednesday, i'm down 5 pounds! from wednesday! now imagine what i could do if i added actual exercise to that!! gonna test that out this week. by next week, i should need new pants hahah.

I'm no expert, but I play one on TV!

Day 4 of weight watchers and I'm going strong so far!! I found a couple of secrets that I forgot about!! If you mosey into walmart and go to the water isle...There, you will find these bottles of flavored water called 'clear american'. They have 0 cals, 0 everything else. I recommend these if you are trying to get in water for the day. Maybe drink one instead of the regular water. They are sweetened but not overly sweet. My favorite one is golden peach. Tastes like a really good peach. They are 1 liter in size. That's not all! These bottles of wonderfulness are only 50 cents!!

I have yet to find fat free/sugar free/free everything else creamer. I did, however, find coffee-mate's cinnamon vanilla creme. This stuff is great! You can use 2 tablespoons of it in a cup of coffee. I know this is bad, but I usually eyeball it. I measured yesterday and my guess came to a little over 1 Tablespoon. Not too bad. It gives it a little kick and tastes really good.

when I want sweet, I have found that caramel corn rice cakes do the trick. BE CAREFUL though because you can only eat 5 of them for 1 point.

yesterday I made ground turkey spaghetti. Yeah it was ok. I might eventually flop back over to hamburger (ground round) because I don't know that like the taste at all.

did you know that leisure walking counts as exercise? If you go for a stroll around walmart, that's counted. Or if you go outside and walk at a normal pace, that's counted too. Next week I'm going to step it up by doing an actual work out.

I know you aren't suppose to weigh yourself until 'weigh in day' but I did yesterday on the scale at work and I'm down 2.4 pounds. YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. My official weigh in is on Monday so I'll post how much I actually lost on that day.

31 years old....31 points!

I signed up for weight watchers online about 10 minutes ago. i started to sign up last night and clicked out of it. then it gave me this "hey don't go, here's another 10 bucks off the price" so i saved that and signed up this morning.
i didn't want to start today but i wanted to get use to everything on the site. it seems confusing to me so far. i know it shouldn't but the points are something i'm going to have to learn. in my mind i think that 31 points is A LOT of points. and the food menu that they suggest uses them all up in a day. i have this idea in my head where you don't eat much to lose it. MY idea of a menu is oatmeal and a fruit for breakfast, salad for lunch and a piece of chicken and potatoes for dinner. ok THIER idea of a meal plan is...oatmeal, fruit, milk, tea for breakfast, hamburger, veggies, fruit, milk, salad, dressing for lunch, a snack of tea, toast, jam, veggies, and dinner of chicken, spaghetti, sauce, milk, tea, fruit, whipped cream, a smootie...i mean it's not really like that but the list goes on for days!! so immediately in my head i said "self, follow it, they know what they are doing" and the other part of my mind said "self, if you eat all that crap you're not gonna lose anything" i have to get into a better mind set. remember one of my things was not to knock myself down. so i think i'll play around with the points tomorrow to see what i can come up with for a meal plan for thursday and to see how i do at work.
then keep on the plan and totally get into it on monday. here are some questions..

what type of vitamin should i be taking? i hate water, does anyone have suggestions on how to get all of that water into me? how can i hold my self accountable for this for real?

my post where i talk about weight

so, i'm going to join weight watchers on friday. online. then i'm going to look around for a gym. and take regular walks. or something. but i totally am joining weight watchers on friday. let me tell you, it scares me to death. i get on these kicks where i'm TOTALLY cool for a week...lose about 5 pounds and then say screw it and eat 9 dozen cookies. thing is, i'd like to feel attractive, fit into a booth at a restaurant, not breathe heavy when i walk up stairs, not be so tired all the time, and not be fat.

so, this is where i put my foot down and say "self, you're fat" and do something.
so....let this be a warning to everyone....jenny is going on a mission. :)

Mike Sherman fired.

there was a press conference that i slept right through. you can hear that by going to www.packers.com and finding out what they said about it. so what does this mean for the green bay packers? a new beginning? brett farve leaving? didn't he say once that if sherman goes, he goes? i don't think that it's mike sherman's fault for the horrible season they had. i know that they should have to be able to work with any players, but look at all of the players that were hurt this year. javon walker, one of the most talented players, out for the season. some other players were out too, which leaves the benchers to take their shot at it. donald driver can only do so much.
it takes a strong team. and that's something they lacked this year. maybe it's time for farve to retire. he's, what, 87 years old now..time to move on. he had a good run like 5 years ago. you're no spring chicken, brett. if you could arrange the team like you wanted to, how would you do it? i wouldn't have the foggiest on where to start. maybe they don't either, so they are starting with the coach. let me coach for a while. tell the guys to run to the opposite end of the field and hang on to the ball. what's so hard about that?
