THURSDAY

i wish i had my camera here at work. owen is coloring "ernie et bert" and he's staying in the lines. the cute part is, that his bottom lip is over his top lip with a little bit of his tounge sticking out LOL hahahha. then on occasion he says "ernie et bert" like he's from france hahahah. what a good kid!

kylin is taking her hour nap. she should be done in about 15 minutes.

i just called a really great friend of mine because i'm missing her lately. i haven't talked to her in about 3 days. ok ok ok i know what you are thinking...3 days? well that's a long time. so i called and left a message on her voice mail today on her cell phone. so if she is reading this...check your cell phone LOL. i'm sure she's not going to read this as she doesn't know it exists hahahah.

Ahhh Wednesday!!

This means i'm half way through the week. fun times. i tried to rearrange my living room only to discover that i need new furniture LOL my gold chair is not cutting it anymore. i'd love a rocking chair. like either one of those glider rockers or a REALLY comfy recliner. just means i need to save my change. i'd also like to get one of those sofa tables (the ones that go behind the couch) and an end table to match. hahahha.

i'm slightly tired tonight. thinking about making some chocolate chip cookies (yum) and having a huge glass of milk to go with them. i have to remember to mail my rent check tomorrow. i forgot to do that today hahah.

it has been decided that i will be an old hag. the non date had gotten back with his x girlfriend. so not only am i feeling a little dumpy on myself, i also feel like a total and complete idiot. so now i'll go and have a good cry and return to my life of cats. what was i thinking?

busy busy busy!

OK!! SO! this weekend i have tons and tons and tons of places to be! let's start out the weekend on friday night. i'll be heading out with casey to have a fun filled evening with the mo's. THEN saturday my cousin david is getting married..let's hope he doesn't repeat the anne marie dog incident (although it could be funny). i might skip the wedding itself and just go to the reception. catching the bouquet would be nice. although i've caught a few and am i married? no i'm not.
which brings me to sunday. sunday i'm sleeping. all day. THEN at night i'm going out to dinner with my friend jennie and then we are going to her bf's soccer game so i can meet this guy named phil. so basically it's not a date (i repeat it's NOT A DATE) It's just a friendly meeting of 2 people. and if anything ...i'll make a new friend (dammit this guy better fall all over me and ask me to marry him right there because i'm worth it!!!! *breath*) so that's my weekend. to recap: fun outing on friday, wedding on saturday, a NON-DATE soccer game on sunday.

recently i discovered 2 blogs that i really like. A LOT. so much, in fact, i visit them both several times a day, make funny comments (ok funny to me), and just rather enjoys them. now, i'm sure they are not going to be visiting my lovely blahg (say that outloud it's funny) but if they do happen to stop by...HOLLA!!

now, also, there's this blog that my friend manda writes. now get this. the people i nanny for have a daughter named Kylin who was born sept 22, '04. ok well manda has a daughter Kyla who was born sept 21, '04. cute huh? i read her blog to find out what she's doing with her daughter so i can do the same thing where i nanny. i know i know i'm lame but give me a break. haha.

YUMMY!!!

for those of you that don't know me that well, i must tell you that i'm not all about the health food, natural foods, etc. well let me just tell you what i stumbled upon thanks to my best friend casey!! we were at woodmans (for those of you out of towners...it's A HUGE grocery store) and casey picked up these rice chips...sesame and seaweed. ok i know what you are thinking and i thought the same thing........YUK!!! well he made me try them that night and they are AMAZING! it sort of has this sour cream and onion taste to it (but there's not any in there). the brand name of these glorious rice chips ....lundberg. it comes in a green bag and says RICE CHIPS on the front in big letters. sesame and seaweed. 140 calories 7 grams of GOOD fat (no trans fat, no cholesterol, 0.5 saturated fat) TRY THEM.
